  • At Eastlakes Optometrist we are often asked when do health fund benefits expire?

If you use AHM Health Fund your optical health fund benefits expire June 30th 2017. The same applies for People's Health Fund, Navy Health Fund, with entitlements for this year running out at the end of the financial year. Come in to Eastlakes Eye Care before this time and claim your health fund benefit before then.

Remember, you can use your optical health fund benefits to update your glasses, get a pair of anti-computer strain glasses, get a cool pair of sunglasses, or try out some contact lenses.

Each member of the family have their own health fund entitlements. Every person listed on the card has their own amount to use, and one person's claim on the card does not affect any other person's benefit.

Even if you have all your eye wear options sorted, it could be a great opportunity to pick up a spare pair or back up pair of glasses. Or to try out some different contact lenses, such as coloured contacts for a special occasion, or daily contact lenses for sport and travel.

We have a range of No Gap health fund options and can claim your fund on the spot with HICAPS.

If you don't use your health fund benefits by this date you will miss out on them. Health fund entitlements do not accumulate year to year. If you don't use it you lose it!

You pay thousands to your health fund every year. Don't miss out on claiming what you are entitled to!

If you would like to find out more call Eastlakes Optometrist on 02 9667 3545. Or come in with your health fund card and we can run a no-obligation quote on your card to tell you exactly what you have left to spend on your health fund.
